| Only a special person can see past the shifty eyes and scaley skin of of Reptile. This page is dedicated to those people. I have links that I have found helpful even as a rescuer. No one knows everything and education is your weapon so it never hurts to go browsing to learn more. I have worked with reptiles for over 6 years and know that I still make my mistakes I am always on a quest to learn more. I started out with Iguanas, I think almost everyone does, but moved from there to Monitors, Amphibians and Beardies. I have even had a pair of Ball Pythons at one point. These are magnificant animals and deserve our respect. I am totally against the frivilous sale and reproduction of these animals at State Fairs and Shady Pet Stores. I love to see someone look at me crazy when I ask if they de wormed their reptile. Our rescue is dedicated to the American Pit Bull however we do take in Herps. PLEASE call us if you have any questions or want to surrender a Reptile and we will help as much as possible. NOTE: At this moment we can not take in ANY Snakes over 7 feet long. We are not equpited to do this.. This however may become an option in the future. |
