Pit Bulls in the News
What do we take???
We primarily rescue what we consider "Bully Breeds" (this includes Boxers, Mastiffs, Bull Terriers, PitBulls ect...) or anything that is remotely related to the Bull Dogge.  We also specialize in dogs that are considered "at risk" for abuse and neglect(ie. fighting and guard dogs).  We do not take in Agressive animals!!!
In addition to these dogs we also take in Reptiles(within reason as long as we are equiped at the time), SOME wildlife(this depends on if we have a licensed rescuer on staff at that time.) abandoned pups/kittens who must be bottle fed, and birds(as long as our Bird rescuer has room and available cage).
Please understand that in some cases we may ask that the person surrendering to pay for either spay/neuter surgery, initial vet visit or in some cases donate a small amount of $20.00 per animal surrendering.  In the cases of reptiles and birds it is asked that the animals enclosure be dontated if none is available at the rescue.

"Of all the creatures, man is the most detestable. Of the entire brood, he is the only one that possesses malice. He is the only creature that inflicts pain for sport, knowing it to be pain. The fact that man knows right from wrong proves his intellectual superiority to the other creatures; but the fact that he can do wrong proves his moral inferiority to any creature that cannot."--Mark Twain

On your Right...
Clutch was one of our "Teddy Bears".  He was a rescue from the Denton City Pound and caught our eye immediatly.  He is not a Pit Bull but is a big dog that people fear all the same.  Clutch is a Boxer Mastiff X and now lives with a loving family in Ft. Worth TX.
Unfortunately he was stollen from the owners back yard if you have any information regarding him please call us!  Clutch has a Microchip that can be scanned.  Please if you have seen him call us, there is a loving little boy missing his buddy!
And how do we pay the bills?  Fundraising!!!
Fundraising is a priority of any rescue trying to help make a difference in the lives of the unfortunate animals subject to abandonment, abuse and neglect.  Below is a list of organizations of whome have either offered or have already donated to our rescue efforts.  Please visit these links to help support us and other rescues!!!
