Animal Cruelty is a crime against our creator and must be stopped!!! I don't care what or who you worship but all religeons condemn the murder of innocent for fun. People are so easy to blame the animal when we, humans are who created the aggressive tnedancies. Why do we punish the animal or the people who actually want to help them? Why can't we create laws that give the poilice more power to arrest and prosecute these criminals. How is it that in our society it is a jailable offense to curse at someone without witness yet it takes months to get a dog fight ring to be raided? These animals are helpless. I get so angry when I speak with investigators and they have to tell me they will be euthanizing 90 dogs due to aggressive tendancies. Its not the investigators fault nor is it the animals fault, its our societies fault for not putting their foot down when they witness these actions. Its parents faults when they witness their child torturing an animal but just write it off as "childlike behavior". Its our societies fault when we see a dog fight in progress but dont call 911!!!
I am not meaning to be mean or to be an animal activist, I am just tired of seeing innocent animals euthanized when prevention could have saved their lives!

Law Enforcement needs to increase its role in this horrible crime. IT IS A FELONY TO WATCH OR PARTICIPATE IN PIT FIGHTS!!! So why cant the police and sheriffs departments take phone calls of this nature seriously and think its Animal Controls job? Come on people lets get mobilized and we can prevent this disease on our societies body... |

These are really good dogs when trained and raised preoperly.... They can be in homes with children, other dogs and in some cases can be used as service animals. The key to raising a great Pit Bull is proper socialization, proper training, and proper ownership... These animals can be great family dogs. I see commercials everyday with dogs who look to be either Pit Bull or part Pit Bull and they seem to be doing just fine. They are incredibly intelligent and need alot of attention. If you dont have alot of time, dont get a Pit Bull. I hate to hear people call me who say they are giving up their animal because they are having a baby.... On the left and right are my 2 children, they have Apsergers. Sinse bringing these animals into our lives I have watched them open up and attatch to these dogs like they are humans. I wouldnt allow a viscious or unruly dog around my kids. So what is so different about a baby????
Find another excuse!!!
